Galleria romana del Furlo

In the age of Vespasiana (76-77) an imposing tunnel of 38 m high 5.30 wide 5.50 was excavated; still used today as SS3 Via Flaminia. Engineering success of ancient Rome celebrated in the rock at the entrance with two inscriptions.
