Château de Chillon

Location: Veytaux, Vaud, Schweiz/Suisse/Svizzera/Svizra

Chillon Castle is a medieval island castle on Lake Geneva, south of Veytaux in the Swiss canton of Vaud, between Montreux and Villeneuve. It was successively held by the House of Savoy and, from 1536 to 1798, by Bern, and is classified as a Swiss Cultural Property of National Significance.
