Ruine Lieli

Ruine Lieli in the Swiss canton of Lucerne is a castle ruin with a moat, a residential tower from the mid-13th century, and a nine-sided polygonal ring wall. From 1223 it was the seat of the Kyburg ministerialis family of Lieli, was destroyed by Lucerne in 1386, and was excavated and conserved in 1929-31 and 1984.
