Schloss Hauptwil in the canton of Thurgau was built in 1664/65 as the residence and office of linen manufacturers Hans Jakob and Bartholomä Gonzenbach. It later served as a domestic science school (1891-1951) and a care home (1953-2012), and is not open to the public.
